Maui 1/14 to 1/23/2008
My family and I spent about 10 days on Maui together for one big happy family vacation. I had been to Hawaii four times before, but can't remember much of the first two visits, and nothing from my first visit to Maui. So, it was nice to see the island now that I'm old enough to appreciate it. Over the course of the trip, we had an amazing oceanfront condo, ate a lot of superb fresh fruit and fish, went for a rainforest mountain bike ride, took a snorkel boat to Lana'i (which doubled as a whalewatch), saw lots of honu (green sea turtle), nai'a (dolphins), kohola (humpback whale), swam and boogieboarded and snorkeled a lot, and took great drives around West Maui and to the summit of Haleakala. Here's some pictures (about 80 of them).

Our condo was pretty damn close to the ocean. My grandma admires the view. We stayed in West Maui between Honokowai and Kahana.
