TR: Berthoud Pass 2/14 & 2/15/2015

With very little snow in the preceeding 6 weeks, Ryan and I turned to a reliable and seldom traveled corner of Berthoud Pass to ski playful features and creamy recycled powder.

First run on Saturday, Ryan found the snow to be acceptable.

Sorry for the noise/blurriness. I found some fun airplane turns in the middle pitch.

After our lap Saturday, I headed back down to Denver to do some life stuff. The view from the roof of my house that evening was fantastic.

Saturday morning was so good that we went for seconds on Sunday morning. Me off the top.

However, we traded skis for the day, and the balance point on my Praxis GPO's proved to be somewhat elusive at first.

Pretty incredible conditions considering how long it had been since the last significant snowfall.
