TR: Buffalo Pass 1/4 to 1/5/2014
I've been jealous of the photos surfacing from Buffalo Pass for years. Located just outside of Steamboat Springs, CO, Buff Pass receives some of the highest annual snowfall figures in Colorado. Couple that with generally calm winds and low moisture content precip and you've got a winning combination.
The only problem? You need to book a ride with the commercial cat skiing operation, Steamboat Powdercats, or own a snowmobile to really access the goods. With my purchase of Molly, a fiesty little 05 Arctic Cat M7, I finally had the means to get back there.
Amee and Shipley joined me for a weekend of exploration, extreme cold, and deeeep powder skiing.

Amee and I riding Molly up the pass.

It was deep. Shipley getting pitted.

And disappearing into the trees.

Me popping a roller in the storm.

I'm attached to that ski somewhere under there.

I can't wait to go back.
