RMNP Dragonstail Couloir Skiing 5/4/2013

South facing aspects had consolidated faster and didn't have the depth hoar problem present on other aspects, so we chose the Dragonstail Couloir, a classic, easy access steep line in Rocky Mountain National Park. Dropping off the steep south face of Flattop Mountain into the stunning Tyndall Gorge, the line offers a consistent 45 degree pitch complete with a fun, narrow choke. An excellent start to the playoff season!
