Jones Pass Skiing 1/19/2013

While skinning up, we happened upon a girl named Stacy with a friendly dog that was skinning up solo. Willow (Larry's dog) and Jackson (Stacy's dog) hit it off, so we figured we'd invite her to join us. Turns out she rips.

The snow wasn't quite as consistent as some of the photos imply. It was soft, but also a bit grabby, wind affected, and weird. Carnage ensued. Stacy stuffed a tip at the bottom, and Larry tried to rip his knee off partway down (can you find him in the middle of the slope?). Fortunately both were fine.

Willow had no such issues.

Hans brought up the tail of the group with classic Hans-a-marking style. And then, in traditional fashion, we traversed into the trees and found the best snow of the day, and I didn't take any pictures. Good tour!
