Steamboat Water Ramps 8/29/2010

When you tell people you are going to the water ramps, they generally look pretty confused. I had known about water ramping for awhile, but was never really motivated to try it until this year. I wish I had gone before, because it was so much freaking fun. Kim and Mike had both been before and are both really good at it, so they were the perfect people to go with.

Mike "warmed up" by throwing 540s and 720s and backflips and such. Then it was onto his goal for the day: lincoln loops. Here's one of his first efforts.
After going through the process of proving that we weren't going to kill ourselves, Kim and I moved over to the freeride jump. Here's Kim on her first hit. She then proceeded to throw down a half dozen solid front flips, but I didn't get evidence of it.
