Me dropping into Marmot, which is WAY more interesting than normal. Billygoat lines! Photo: Mike Bennett
Here is a snowboarder going straight. His name is Mike. He was going fast at the bottom.
Looking back up at Mike's run on the classic Rock Chutes straightline.
On our second lap, we decided to do a line I've looked at a bunch of times, but never done. In fact, I've never seen tracks on it (although I know it has been skied). Lacking a shovel to move snow around for a proper entrance via hucking into the top, we opted for the "interesting" mountaineering entrance. This involved standing on an exposed shelf and making a must-stick jump turn into the narrow chute. Photo: Mike Bennett
And I'm in. Photo: Mike Bennett
And going straight. Photo: Mike Bennett
My lines from our two laps on Rock Chutes. First line was the straightline of the wider dogleg couloir, second line was the interesting straightline on lookers right. This is just before Mike followed me.
